INOVA FAIRFAX HOSPITAL SOUTH PATIENT TOWER

SUMMARY OF WORK

Cole Construction completed the $161M South Patient Tower on the INOVA Fairfax Hospital campus in Falls Church, VA. Construction was completed in Fall 2012.

The 216,000 sq. ft. tower features 174 private patient rooms for surgical and intensive care treatment. The South Patient Tower was designed and constructed to achieve a LEED Silver Certification from the United States Green Building Council. Green features of the expansion include a green roof, rain gardens, water cisterns, the use of low- and no-VOC paints, carpets and furniture and the installation of efficient energy and insulation systems. Scope of work included the following:

• ACT ceiling
• Wall protection
